Low Cost Shares

Common Thread would like to share the harvest with families in Syracuse who may not be able to afford the full share price and who may not previously have had access to fresh produce though CSA.

With the aid of a volunteer coordinator located within Syracuse, we hope to feed an additional 25 to 50 families through this program. Distribution will begin in June of 2012 and extend to November.

Program details:

·         Reduced cost share: $350

·         20-weeks of seasonal produce

·         Use of re-usable totes

·         Food by weight (8-10 lbs/week)

·         Flexible payment options (payment schedule; WIC and EBT accepted)

·         Weekly distribution facilitated by Syracuse coordinator
