Please note that we expect to sell out of shares for the upcoming season; it is therefore essential that you mail your completed form and payment as soon as possible.

Common Questions

Can I split a share with someone?
Sure you can split a share. A share is just a quantity of food. Feel free to split it with whoever you like, however you like. Divide the share up with family or friends after you leave the farm. This year we will not be offering half shares.

Can I purchase half of a share?
This year we will not be selling half shares. Please feel free to divide your share however you wish once you leave the farm. To help us with our administrative work we ask that the primary shareholder pick up the share.

What if I miss a week of distribution?
No problem. If you know you are going to miss a week give your share away to a friend or a neighbor. Just tell them to check in with us at the farm. We will be happy to help them out and answer any questions they might have.

What if I am in the area for only part of the year?
Whether you travel frequently, are going on sabbatical, or are only in the Hamilton area for part of the year we can provide you with fresh Organic local produce. A share is just a quantity of food so feel free to give your share to a friend or coworker when you know you can't make it to the farm. We will do our best to work with you to find a solution for all of your needs.

What will happen to extra produce that the farm produces?
Extra produce will be donated to a local shelter serving folks in need. Remember that if you go away you can also choose to donate your share to the shelter.

Is there a work requirement for members if I join the farm?
No, there is never a work requirement for our members but volunteers are always welcome. If you are interested in volunteering please email the farm.
